Yeah, I considered using the TLC081 that I used some time ago for 
modems-over-mains with good success. Rail-to-rail and some 50-100mA 
output current at somewhat high frequencies.

I actually would just love to get rid of transformer...
I was considering using simple Optocoupler to go to the line... will 
have to think about it.
Also, I have to choose what to use as the power-supply: ranging 20-120V, 
I was almost tented on a Supertex device... Or maybe that a simple BU 
transistor or alike can work all the same, after all current will be 
real low.
