I am intrigued by a signal generator in one of the clean rooms here. I can 
see it through the window, but cannot make out the model number.

In the test set up where it is being used, it is set to 3.000 000 000 000 
GHz. Now it is either pretty fancy internally, or telling porkies, but to 
maintain frequency stability and noise floor at 1mHz on a 3GHz carrier seems 
pretty incredible to me.
