That will not happen anytime soon.

But on the other hand, Mono can be interesting. I am now playing with
libusbdotnet, a cross-platform (Linux, Winodws, Mac OS X) libusb
wrapper.

I can use VS2008, SharpDevelop under Windows and
MonoDevelop under Linux to compile the same program
and it works the same.
