Thanks Gerhard and Lucas, So you guys saying that I can run any .NET application on my Linux? Hope Microsoft Office uses .NET so I can install it on Ubuntu -- or am I missing something? BTW Microsoft got many things from Unix to MSDOS (directory handling for example including the commands like mkdir, rmdir and cd, but then the slash ('/') was already used by the CP/M parameters, so they needed to invent the back-slash). They also developed Xenix which is a Unix flavour, so Microsoft is not that Unix hater after all as it seems to be. I just want to see the results -- Microsoft products and software libraries for Linux.
