No, I can't, for two reasons: 1) The term "most" makes the statement factually unprovable, as it is (AFAIK) impossible to collect all Microsoft documentation, which would be necessary for determining whether a majority of it has a certain characteristic. 2) The characteristic "it sucks" implies "IMO", and that makes it impossible to prove (objectively) whether a given piece of documentation has this characteristic. If you wanted something else (maybe an intelligent discussion about the quality of Microsoft, Microchip and other documentation), I'm quite willing to enter one -- but it would have to start with a different question :) FWIW, and because MSDN has been mentioned, MSDN is just a collection of Microsoft documentation. It's often difficult to figure out what an API does, based on the documentation. For example, try to explain how exactly SQLGetPrivateProfileString works, based on the documentation. I know most of it, and this not necessarily from the help because there's much that's not written nor linked from there, but I still don't know all of it -- because it's not written up anywhere I could find it. And this is actually a quite good example; there are (much) worse.
