No Russell, I did consider it :) it's appreciated! As Olin said too, the hardware is already there AND I'm almost sure that I can get the result all the same with this configuration. In case I put my hands on the circuit, I'll go with your approach to get full-span wave and also avoid the -GND overflowing.
