So I use XP at work, Vista/Linux/FreeBSD at home. Now I am typing under Ubuntu 9.10. But I mainly use MPLAB under Vista for testing firmwares for PIC. That being said, probably Microchip will fix the issues now that they are developing a new IDE for Linux and Mac OS X. As per previous post by Alan Pearce the new IDE will be based on NetBean. So the associated toolchains will also be ported. I hope they will then support 64bit Linux. -- = Xiaofan http://mcuee.blogspot.com -- = http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
