Way too high compare with Microchip's > home-grown C Compilers. Microchip's home-grown C compilers are of course very reasonably priced. However, if you add C18, C30 and C32 together, it also adds up. Then you still do not have a compiler for PIC12/16. Of course the annual maintenance fee of HiTech is another thing. So I myself would recommend to stick to Microchip compilers (C18, C30 and C32) due to the wealth of software packages from Microchip and nice licensing terms. But HiTech PICC is still the king for PIC12/16. -- Xiaofan http://mcuee.blogspot.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
