A single channel is very limiting = IME, you very often want to see what one or more signals is doing in relati= on to another. I would happily have a small box with a couple of BNCs on i= nstead of a "USB probe", though I fully understand this goes against your e= ntire concept. I've been looking for a useful USB scope for a while and the limitations I = tend to see are: 1) Not enough channels. 2) Poor bandwidth, typicaly 1MHz or under and often not very flat. 3) Lack of triggering options. 4) Limited input voltage ranges. 5) Sometimes no AC coupling. 6) Rubbish host software (This could absorb a lot of work IMO). I guess I want a BitScope, but at $600+ I'd be happy to sacrifice some perf= ormance for some $$$.
