Why not forget about Forth and put your strength behind the two main stream Open Source PIC Compiler project -- SDCC and JAL? There are open source Forth efforts for PIC before, or other Open Source compiler for PIC before, none of them are widely used as SDCC/JAL. I understand the pride of developing your own compiler and probably you can use it for your own purpose. So the above is just a suggestion.
