I'm told thatthe prices we can easily see 'here" are only a starting point for Aian pricing. The TI processor being quoted here at 33c in 1k was 25c in 100k. That was their entry level part. You can see uChip pricing down to around 30c in 'the West' so I'd imagine that in real volume in Asia the entry level is say 20 cents. (May not do overly much though :-) ).(But, even the lowliest processor is vastly better than none at all.)
