I want to send files by email from a "DOS box" in Windows - XP, Vista, WIN2000, ... . Ideally from the command line or batch file or script. Batch file or DOS level commands which can be accessed via DOS calls from a steam driven application would be most desirable. Any amount of high level arcanery exists to do this - I'd like some low level arcanery. Ideally I want a system process that takes a directory of files and sends them one per message with a subject line to a specified location by email. (Subject line becomes a website photo title. Destination address sets folder & album they appear in). 1st glance suggested Telnet was up to the task. 2nd glance that it wasn't - ie file transfer is not a Telnet capability and variants that do have add ons. Misc Gargoyling produces no obvious solutions. Any suggestions welcome. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0 Russell -- = http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
