And there are ones with a round or rectangular body with a thinner (2mm ?) extension on front Another option might be to use a label with a window (possibly frosted to scatter the light) with the LED just reaching the underside of the label Does the LED have to be on the top ? It would be more easily seen on the side when it's in front of you on a bench.
