You still haven't said what constitutes "better looking" other than not so tall. I'd like it flatter too, but couldn't find a suitable box off the shelf. One thing I don't like is the T1 LED sticking out. I'd really rather have a light pipe press fit into the hole, then the other end of the light pipe ending right above a SMD LED on the board.
