Sorry about that, I did wonder what reaction it would get. I did have a 
silent laugh to myself at the time at the way he thought Netbeans was a 
language, instead of a programming environment.

Yeah, actually this seems to be a popular way to go to get multi-platform 
code. A Java suite I use for model railroad control seems to do a pretty 
decent job from being written in Java. You may know of it - JMRI - because 
of the court case that has been going on in California over open source code 
and patents. Seems to be settled now, see
