I was hoping that push the button would put PICkit 3 enter the bootloader mode (just like PICkit 2) but apparently it did not work. Occasionally PICKit 2 can lose firmware but it is rather easy to recover. Similar issues for PIC32 USB Starter Kit II and other starter kits (the on-board JTAG debugger lost firmware) http://www.microchip.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=473796 It seems to me that Microchip either has big issues with Windows 7 64bit (for PICKit 3) and the bootloaders (PICKit 3 and various starter kits). -- Xiaofan http://mcuee.blogspot.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
