I was using fret saw many times for cutting PCBs. Surprisingly fast, and you can cut window as well. Actually once I used a metal sheer for cutting a PCB sheet -- but not as an electronic board but as a material for a box: http://www.mcuhobby.com/articles.php?article_id=13 I was not impressed to be honest, however, I only used a hand-held sheer. I could not hold it straight many times and as you can see on the pic there are many mistakes in the cut. Also at the edge of the PCB bended just like it was a metal sheet. So I had to straighten it a bit. Not sure if that worktop sheer would do a better job? I know that some PCB prototype company would use this technique only if the board is thinner (0.8mm or less). I keen to hear results with that tool!
