I did that with an APC. Now it just won't boot up at all! Before it died it= was producing beep sounds which relates to abnormal operation... Not too l= ong back, I opened the unit after years of storage and found the SLA comple= tely drained. As for the UPS I am not sure what is wrong. Any ideas where I= can get the schematics of my APC SmartUPS 1400?
