There was a web site where you could post a programming or engineering problem you wanted solved, and then people would bid on providing the solution. Actually, there are several of those and I can find them easily. http://www.rentacoder.com http://www.GetAFreelancer.com http://www.Elance.com etc... But this one was different in that the problem and solution bids were publically viewable and MULTIPLE people could agree to contribute a payment if the problem was solved. Once the TOTAL collected pledges passed the lowest bid amount, the pledges were collected, and the solution provider engaged to work. Instead of "I need you to write this for ME" it was "SOMEONE needs to write this for US" Do you know what site that was?
