I have not received the digests 2,3,4 for 2009 and visited http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist to check up if I missed some message about renewing subscription etc ( although the last renewal message I remember was for October 2001) "!ALERT! Our server was listed as a spam source by spamcop.com. Many subscriptions have been disabled because the members server rejected the email based on the spamcop RBL. Please whitelist email from pch.mit.edu." I did receive "Piclist Digest, Vol 66, Issue 5" and the mailman site said "We have received some recent bounces from your address. Your current bounce score is 1.0 out of a maximum of 5.0. Please double check that your subscribed address is correct and that there are no problems with delivery to this address. " and I have been suspecting my service provider for a while for now. I wanted to checkout the top posters for 2009, I don't think the result was mailed out this year. Some posters have disappeared, without ( me noticing ) acrimony. Is it a result of spamcop or just that they have retired from the list? List traffic is was down for 3+ months, I wonder how many active (/lurker) members there are. I did find an old favourite Mr RB http://www.electro-tech-online.com/members/mr-rb.html active elsewhere. There was a couple of messages last year from JamesNewton. The admin before James ( Dale Botkin ) - website http://www.botkin.org/dale/ was last updated in 2006, I wonder what he is doing these days. Living a much less stressful life, I imagine. Oh, and there are no posts by user 'Jinx', but the messages from his address are signed wbr - (username) ivp. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
