It could be. I've never seen a "Hanns G". My new Samsung TV certainly works just fine as a monitor and displays all the normal PC resolutions even while booting, and there are some weird ones, like 720x400 or something. And it looks every bit as good as a PC monitor, especially once it finishes booting and is running native 1920x1080. Buy one at Costco and return it if it doesn't work out?
