I'm using a 4GB card with this project

Playback is with another PIC via 4066 switches across the Up,
Down and Play buttons

What I've noticed is that the order of the tracks as seen and displayed
by the dsPIC is not numerical. For example, with the file names 01 to
10, the order might be 07 08 09 10 03 04 05 01 02 . Groups of
consecutive names, not how I intended or want

Tried two ways. Copied as an alphabetised group from XP and
singly onto a freshly formatted card. Same result

Is there a way to force the files into a specified order on the card or do
I presume correctly that sorting is what the reading device has to do ?
