I'd have to agree with 'Nope9 on this one.
Regardless of the merits of 'Nope9's point, which will be and have been long 
discussed in smoke filled rooms, and many other places, I have to agree with 
'Nope9's point that 'Nope9 has made a purposeful provocative political 
statement onlist in purposeful contravention of list rules. This is 
unnaceptable.

Would 'Nope9 please pass on to 'Nope9 the advice that this should email be 
taken as

        official admin warning to desist such stirring on pain of possible 
official
        defenestration or PIClist equivalent or other action.

Note: Please ALL consider that an official admin warning. Politics is such 
fun that the world spends vast amounts of time on it. But it's explicitly 
banned from this list and even humorous but entirely too pointed references 
are unnacceptable.

If anyone wants to discuss this issue or any other with me and/or to know my 
personal views, feel free to do so offlist.
