Is there a way to trap errors in MPASM?

I am creating a macro that generates different code based
on parameters passed and need to generate code for a no parameter situation.
I get an insufficient arguments error on compile and wanted to trap that but
can't find anything in the documentation to do so. It only allows me to
generate an error message not intercept one.
