Hmmm... I have continuous suction and some syringes w/needles.  Didn't  
think I could bend the needle without breaking it, but I'll try this.   
Not sure what gauge needles they are, but I do remember filing one of  
the needles down (to flatten the end), then found it worked very well  
for picking up 0603's.

I'll report back.
