Above 229kWh is 12.33p per kWh (S$0.28)
Night units are at 4.58p each per kWh (S$0.10)

This is in the UK by the way :( We have around another 5% VAT to add on top =

No monitoring, the rate of the residential electricity was the 2nd
highest (2005 HK CLP Power survey), it is at S$0.2169 per KWH, before
7% tax, now.  Londoners, how do we compare?

For water, after a certain amount there are penalty tax on the excess,
in additional there are consumption tax impose on these taxes.
