Yep, I use yahoogroups moderation the same way for lists I run. Once in a while though, the kids (these are robotics-club lists), will use some inappropriate word, and others will respond with the same words, etc and I have to block a few of them, until I can speak with them to stop it. My spam issue was that yahoogroups blocked my own emails (on the lists I run), and it turns out that they blocked emails from any GoDaddy webmail client, since they had previously received spam from GoDaddy (some other client, perhaps on the same server). I ended up having to log into yahoogroups each time to send my messages, cause I keep another yahoo email open, so I had to keep logging in and out of both accounts. Sending messages from email and my blackberry is so convenient. My email to yahoo support resulted in a canned response telling me how to use the moderation features to control spam. My reply to them, explaining why their response didn't answer my question, resulted in nothing -- apparently that was an outgoing-only email address. And later that day I got a canned email survey asking how they did. Ugh! Cheers, -Neil. Quoting Harold Hallikainen : > I run a couple lists on yahoogroups.
