Nothing you can get for $800 is even half as good as your old copy of PADS! I still use 3.5 along with SPECCTRA and it is great. PowerLogic could be better but I still like it more than Protel, or whatever it's called these days. See if you can get an old copy of OrCad for the schematic entry. But keep PowerPCB, it is really a good program.
