This NASA report on Lithium Ion battery performance is 10 years old and much has been learned about LiIon batteries since it was written. Despite this it offers a large amount of rarely seen information about behaviour under various load and temperature cycling conditions. In particular it provides insights into the effects of progressively cycling cells at sub zero and elevated temperatures. (This has a far more pronounced effect on the low temperature portions of the cyles.) Recommended for extreme battery treatment enthusiasts. http://trs-new.jpl.nasa.gov/dspace/bitstream/2014/17630/1/99-1058.pdf Russell McMahon -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
