Somebody contacted me offlist with the concern that this thread was getting 
a bit political.
Unless there are posts I'm missing seeing, or unless I'm blind to the 
politics of my own posts (both possible) it seemed to be going OK, albeit a 
bit irrelevantly, to me.

ie I don't see pro/anti nuclear as political in its own right.
I don't even see terrorism as it affects practical engineering decisions as 
political.

If anyone else, or the original person who contacted me, has any concerns 
please feel free to contact me offlist. A brief explanation of the less 
acceptable stuff would be useful. Brain is obviously fading faster than I 
thought, brain is obv ...brain .. fad .. Bzzt !!##!@!
