Russell, Ah, Gila bend! I also spent a sleepless night there once long ago when I had brown hair (and a lot more of it). I was hitching East towards El Paso, Tx in the middle of a lovely warm night. Along came a freight train moving pretty slow in my direction. Now, I had never hopped a freight before and knew nothing about such but had wanted to try for a long time so here was my chance. The bugger was a bit to fast for me though so I couldn't make it on, but then it backed up and passed me again but now in the wrong direction - but then back again in the right direction - made it on this time. So I settled down onto a nice bed of rocks ready for an easy trip East. But then it reversed again, shuttled me onto a siding and left! I waited many hours before catching a ride in a car. -- Looking forward, Al Shinn -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
