No, not really. :) We recently swapped our old CRT TV with a 42" plasma TV that I hooked up to a computer (for watching YouTube, etc). You have to be at least four feet away to use it comfortably. At work, I have a 30" 2560x1600 display, which gives you about the same dpi as a "normal" monitor.
