It is kind of disappointing for exist Canadian magicJack user since the new Canadian phone numbers are only available for new users (US$ 10 one time fee to get a Canadian phone number will apply at activation), here is the Newsletter correction in today's email:

"We made several errors in the magicJack Independent Reseller Newsletter sent out yesterday.  Here are the corrections: 
 
Existing customers cannot select a Canadian number yet. It is only available for new registrations.

Existing customers cannot select a Vanity number yet. It is only available for new registrations.

To get to the magicJack Customer Portal, use:  http://my.magicJack.com. (You must omit the www.)

We apologize for these mistakes. Thank you. "
