Haha, sadist. None off the finished project, but several disassembling the
cameras. The processors I got them from accept that as an occupational
hazard when they remove the film and battery. Didn't get any more once
I figured out that maybe I should assume all the caps still hold a lot of
energy after the last shot and that discharging them regardless is probably
a good idea

I did get a belt from the latest project though. Might remember I asked
last month about fuel injectors for a propane cyclinder

There's a bug swatter called a Zap Bat. It's like a small tennis racket,
'strung' with two sets of wires, each with one side of a high voltage. It's
like the fitted zappers with the UV light, the idea being the bug completes
the circuit

Found a $5 knock-off and took the HT block for an igniter, using the
solenoid valve from a cheap Eco-Mist spray can to puff camping gas
into the cylinder. The HT block will make an 8mm spark from 3 AA
and it hurts like hell. Twice got thrown back into my seat with very
tingly fingers after trying to adjust the spark gap without due care and
attention

Works remarkably well. With 150ms puff (approx 15cc), 10ms mix
time and 50ms spark the piston has enough force to very nearly mash
a potato
