Wouter, I'm pretty sure that's a Nintendo proprietary connector (if someone can prove me wrong here, PLEASE do!). I haven't found a "bulk" source for it, and the one off's are real expensive, but if it helps, buy.com has them for $4.79 plus shipping right now: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=212702999&listingid=56580269 (tons of places have it, despite not having seen it at anything like Digikey, I first found it by Googling "ds lite power connector") That being said, if that's not the way you want to go, the current in thing to do with the DS lite is to just replace it with a Mini USB connector (Digikey Part# UX60-MB-5S8 is much cheaper at $1.81). The board footprint and functionality match pin for pin, and I don't know for sure, but I seem to remember the Nintendo cord being able to use the mini-usb connector, but I've long since chucked it in favor of charging it off of USB or the Mintyboost. The only caveat is that USB outputs 5VDC and the DS uses 5.2VDC. I have charged my DS through USB with no apparent problems. -Eric On Tue, Nov 24, 2009 at 1:43 PM, Wouter van Ooijen wrote: > > Does anyone know a source (or even a name!) for the PCB power connector > on a Nintendo DS Lite? > > -- > > Wouter van Ooijen > > -- ------------------------------------------- > Van Ooijen Technische Informatica: www.voti.nl > consultancy, development, PICmicro products > docent Hogeschool van Utrecht: www.voti.nl/hvu -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
