I'm sure, its a Samsung ML 1630 monochrome laser. Nice and sharp on plain paper, but on vellum the line is cracked and broken, and on glossy paper, its like the toner smears, or doesnt adhere well on the way to the fuser. Of course if uv penetrates regular paper enough, I can use it for photo-etching anyway. The HP 1012 handles thin glossy magazine pages cut from magazines just fine. I havent done any size accuracy or linearity tests, but getting it printed in the first place is the first step. On Tue, Nov 24, 2009 at 8:52 AM, Carl Denk wrote: > Sure that Samsung isn't an inkjet?
