I think these things become natural over the years of driving experience. Most case when there is an emergency situation you do not think, just act and then when it is over you start thinking what has happened. Look at the F1 drivers, when they start skidding they react naturally in the fraction of the second and many times they can do something to avoid spinning. I am not an F1 driver, not even close to that, but two years ago I was driving at around 80 km/h (50 mph) when I hit an ice patch. The car started to go left and right (on a straight road) and was almost uncontrollable. Still do not know what has happened but somehow managed to stay on road until I could slow down the car. The only thing I know is that I did not press break at all -- that would have been the end of it. I had no time of thinking, it just happened. Of course after that for half an hour I was just shaking probably at the frequency of the PWM the steering wheel was controlled by :-) >> -- I am from Hungary where we have proper winter, -5, -10 is average, >> but sometimes it goes as low as -20, -25. > > No, Hawaii or Tahiti have proper winter :) If you can ski there then I agree :-) Tamas -- int main() { char *a,*s,*q; printf(s=" int main() { char *a,*s,*q; printf(s=%s%s%s, q=%s%s%s%s,s,q,q,a=%s%s%s%s,q,q,q,a,a,q); }", q="\"",s,q,q,a="\\",q,q,q,a,a,q); } -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
