My wife drives the '94 version of your car. She got backed-into recently in a parking lot --- center punched by some gigantic suv with a protruding trailer hitch at about 2 mph(3kph). Looked far worse than yours; hood (bonnet) pushed back almost through the windshield(screen). Repair total was around $6,000. Frame was not bent. I don't know what kind of frame the Civic has and whether it can be straightened out or not. Your photos show close-ups of the front; was there damage there also? Depending on the year of your car, it may well be considered totalled. I would take it to the best shop in your area and make CERTAIN they put it on a lift and examine all portions of the undercarriage, linkages, etc. Damage not found now could be very expensive later. I'll guess $12,000... M.L. wrote: > I was driving home from work yesterday evening. I was stopped in > traffic and got rear-ended by a guy who wasn't paying attention.
