While Bluetooth is IMHO complete crap, for when it does work it does the job. Enabling faster file transfer can only be a good thing. As for the low power bluetooth proposed, I am a little more sceptical. While it's a "good idear", I'm not sure how much legs it will have due to the crappiness of nearly every bluetooth stack out there. I suppose we shall see. TTYL PS. Bluetooth is one of those technologies that has been destroyed by crap software. So much of the promise Bluetooth held has been lost due to incompatibilities. As evidence of this remember how limited the iPhone support for Bluetooth was initially? Apple knew that offering more would just result in many "not working" support calls. To this day, I don't have a Bluetooth connection that "just works". Every one I've tried has it's "oddities", from the handfree connection between my phone and my GPS (it asks for permission to download the phone contacts EVERY TIME it connects) to my mouse which every once in a while forgets it's association with my laptop. File transfer between devices is always a nightmare (my brother and I spent a fruitless 30 minutes trying to transfer one file to my aunt's cell phone from either his cell or mine). -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
