I was/am of the impression that the "NZ" office is a virtual one and that 
orders are fulfilled directly from Thief River.(Great name for a place to 
run a business one.) This is also true of their Chinese website, which 
starts off with Chinse URLs but AFAIR reverts to US obes as one proceeds 
through the system.

Digikey offer free freight to NZ for orders over $100. AFAIR that's $NZ100 
and not $US100 - although the two are reasonably similar at present - in the 
not too distant past they were almost 2:1.

Combining orders with other antipodeans may be doable.

An alternative is to acquire a US contact who will forward for you using a 
lower cost service than Digikey offer. I'm not sure if Digikey offer Global 
Priority Express - AFAIR it costs $US9 to send an A4 x 100 page or so stout 
enevlope by that service with delivery times of about 1 week - faster than 
DHL manages sometimes with their brain dead arrangement with local couriers 
here or when sending my cameras to Singapore. (DHL appear to me to be 
looking for creative ways to destroy their business, although the reason 
theymight wish to do so is not apparent).

If you determine that Digikey have a real NZ office please advise - it would 
be useful.
