I came across some nixie tubes, and Ive always wanted to build a clock.  I'm trying to design it with a minimum part count, so i intend on trying to multiplex a 6 digit display.  I want to try to use on 74141 BCD Nixie driver for the cathodes, and 6 high voltage optos to drive the digits anodes, and an sx28 to control the process. 

I have never worked with nixies before and im curious to see if this scheme i have cooked up will work, can anyone verify? from there i think i can tweak to common code for driving 7-segment displays to suit.
