This has some advantages, but it also has some disadvantages. The link
itself doesn't say where you go when you go there, which is a trust
issue. (Maybe not so important here.) But more importantly, if at any
point in time TinyURL should decide to shut the doors, all the
tinyurl.com links in the archived messages are then dead. Not even the
web archive can help you then.
