At a quick glance it seems to be GCC oriented and not target-specific. 
Hence it might be usable to check portable properties of C code, but not 
for PIC specific aspects.

I have used such frameworks in the past for Unix work. It would be nice 
to have something comparable for PIC work, but there are some problems:
- limited size of PIC memory
- communication of results to the PC
- how to test peripherals-specific code
- how to test interaction with external stuff (including humans)
