Does anyone know of any commercially available animal microchip scanners that have an interface I can connect a PIC or other micro to? I don't care if it has a display or not, but I am trying to avoid having to reverse engineer and interface standard handheld units. Does not need to read all protocols, ISO protocol is all I need. I know there are DIY projects on the web for ISO chips but I was hoping to find something in the $100 to $200 range that is fast and actually works well. Packaging doesn't matter. Application is a couple of pet doors, of course :) Cheerful regards, Bob -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Email service worth paying for.
