I wouldn't consider that strong language, but the review was indeed very good. I'm sure we can port the old firmware to PICKIT3 or even write our own. Or I bet you could still buy PICKIT2 knockoffs on ebay and add device support for them. Even better, there are schematics to build your own PICKIT2. I bet for you guys, adding device support shouldn't be a problem. And I agree with the guy. I totally love my PICKIT2.
