I would pay a fairly high premium to get 2x the light at half the power of the halogen PAR30 lamps I'm using now (75W incandescent halogen long neck). 150W of halogen flood, if it was made, would exceed the fixture safety ratings. They're probably not looking at offering MORE lumens though.. with an aging population it might be a good market niche, at least until they get the governments to mandate their product and they are all afloat in filthy lucre.
