+1 for gerbmerge.  Works great.  A bit of a hassle sometimes to get all 
the config/info file settings right, but very capable.  I use it to put 
together single orders to barebonespcb.com that have included a dozen 
images of boards from multiple designs.  Save your config/info files for 
fast re-use the next time.
