I agree in that the ICD2 is not something I would classify as "reliable". Fortunately there is no need for it anymore anyway. Get a RealICE, they're pretty cheap. A real ICE is still better, but the RealICE at least seems to work as intended. I have heard that the ICD3 has some of the same circuitry as the RealICE and also has the same reliability, but I haven't tried one myself. I don't see the point since it's only a subset of the RealICE. (What a stupid name. The RealICE is not a real ICE.
