Others are advocating this and yet others are advocating a visible address which will receive nothing at all (through which they send posts) and an invisible address which receives list traffic. When I wanted to communicate offlist with a list member some time ago I actually asked for a valid email address knowing that I might not be able to get hold of him through his piclist address. Can you not see that we are actually already moving towards "no contact" via the piclist email address? All the "from" address is really doing now is providing spammers with a way in that they have not bothered with yet.
