Update : I switched to an XP desktop that has dual 2.5 GHz processors / 2G of RAM and MJ sounds so much better. The documentation that MJ offers does not suggest this would be the case. It seems to imply that "any old" processor will work. Then I connected the MJ to my Intel Mac laptop ( dual 1.8 GHz with 2G RAM ). It sounded pretty good on the laptop. The main challenges are the Memories. It runs ok at 512M byte of RAM, but 2G RAM does improve the performance a lot especially you have multiple task running at the same time. Funny N. Do you ever experience moments when either the audio out or the audio in fails while using the MJ ? I bought some Vtech cordless phones to test MJ with. The first call I made did not have audio going out the other end. When MJ does work both ways , I get audio that sounds like I am a bubble-fish. My computer is a 900MHz XP Pro Desktop. I have Comcast cable which has a bandwidth of about 5Mbits/sec. I guess i may try a faster Desktop. I have a dual 2.4GHz unit. Any recommendations ?
